A delegation from Water Access Now traveled to the Northern Region of Ghana this July for two weeks of Celebrating Water. The delegation visited the districts of Builsa North, Talensi, and West Mamprusi to commission boreholes at health clinics and communities funded by Water Access Now in 2018. Borehole commissioning events were filled with warm greetings from Village Chiefs, local musicians, and dancers, along with speeches from all stakeholders. The delegation met with the local district government, Ghana Health Services, and NGO partner CRS Ghana. There was much to celebrate, in 2018 Water Access Now has funded $455,000+ USD for clean water borehole systems in Northern Ghana. Thank you for your continued support!
